Found an old 2003 NYC Cycling Map (left).  It’s amazing to compare it side-by-side with with the new 2009 version (right).  Red represents on-street bike lanes and green is offstreet routes.  The improvement is just phenomenal.
Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard the past 5 years making  NYC such a great place to ride!


This is just fantastic.  The Bloomberg Administration has done a wonderful job making New York City bike friendly.  There’s much more work to do, but this is an excellent start.
